Hello All. Finally there is some good news. I have received a message informing me that there has been an announcement by the MoJ calling for tougher sentences for drivers that kill. The press release states that "Dangerous drivers who kill are set to face life sentences, under plans put forward by ministers." The MoJ announced the consultation on criminal driving charges today. The consultation will be live on gov.uk on Monday and ends on Feb. 1st, 2017. The Government is suggesting life sentences for offenders who kill. This is something we all welcome very much and I'm sure we will follow this very closely during the next couple of months.
