Dear all. Just a quick reminder that the Ministry of Justice consultation period closes this Wednesday - February 1st , and we need as many people as possible to respond to the online survey before it closes. Of course, a BIG thank you to all of you that have already given your views on the online survey, but after talking to various friends this week, I’ve realised that many people didn’t know that this survey was the next step in getting a change in the sentencing policy for criminal driving. Many of you possibly have not yet completed the survey?...... but it’s not too late to do so at the moment. It will be too late after Wednesday. I have been told by the minister with responsibility for sentencing, Sam Gyimah MP, that it is very important for people to complete this survey. The Ministry of Justice will study the finding of this survey. The survey will ask you to give your views. Please, please do so like you have on our petition page. I have had thousands of messages since last August, from all parts of the country, and many of you with a similar story to ourselves. Please share your stories, experiences, views and hopes in this survey and the Ministry of Justice will look at them. The link is attached here for you. Surely if everybody completed this survey then it would make a huge difference and we would be that much closer to the long awaited change in our criminal driving sentencing laws. It is exactly 34 months today since Miriam was killed. In Miriam’s memory and in memory of all other innocent people killed and injured on our roads by criminal drivers, please complete this survey.
