We can hardly believe it......... In less than 24 hours an amazing 14,000 people have signed our petition. The amount of signatures as we speak is now at 104,475! We have reached our target and more in just over a month! I really don’t know what to say..... We are overwhelmed and so very grateful to each and every one of you. So many of you, from all parts of the UK have shared and supported 'A Moment for Miriam'. The sharing of updates and posts has really paid off.... So a MASSIVE THANK YOU to you all. This would not have happened without your support. I’ve received hundreds of messages during the past few days and I’ve read every single one and I’m very grateful to everybody. This proves to me how strong people feel about the need to change current sentencing laws. There are so many other families in a similar situation to us. So many people have lost loved ones and so many people whose lives have been destroyed and changed forever. Tonight I'm sharing a photo of Miriam with her boyfriend Eric. Miriam loved Eric with all her heart. They were planning a future together and were devoted to one another. Her death has shattered his life as well. We really can't thank you all enough for the support you have all shown us. We will carry on with the petition for another month and then we aim to present it to Theresa May PM. Please continue to share - the more signatures, the better! Miriam touched so many hearts when she was alive and she obviously remains to do so. We all love her so much and miss her more than ever.
