As a lifelong resident of Visalia, CA, it physically pains me to see the new city logo. The original logo was a symbol of our community’s history and identity. It represented the spirit of our city and its residents. The recent change has not only disrupted this connection but also caused distress among many like myself who hold the old logo close to their hearts.

The new design lacks the charm and character that made us proud to call Visalia home. Moreover, changing logos can be an expensive endeavor for cities. While exact figures for Visalia are not available, similar-sized cities have spent anywhere from $20,000 to $100,000 on such projects (source: Municipal Budget Reports). This is money that could have been better spent on improving public services or infrastructure in our beloved city.

We believe that reverting back to the original logo will restore a sense of familiarity and pride among residents while saving potential future costs associated with implementing the new design across all platforms.
