Apex Legends has discontinued support for Linux and Steamdeck, wich seems like a hail mary attack to stop the cheaters,

Because cheaters using Linux for the most "nasty" cheats shouldn't be an excuse to exile everyone on Linux, Windows wouldn't be excluded if all cheater's were on windows only.

Sacrificing the real legit Linux users to attempting to stop the cheating in Apex Legends seems like an easy solution that is not fair. I feel like EA/respawn doesn't have their priorities straight, and should tackle the issue by its core. What Respawn has down now is cut of 1 head of the hydra what probably make 3 new heads grow in the place. Cheaters will find other ways to cheat and Legit users have to pay the price again.
