Reverse the Expulsion of Cassidy Lowe to Preserve her Future

Reverse the Expulsion of Cassidy Lowe to Preserve her Future
The Issue
My name is Cassidy Lowe, and I am currently facing a crisis that threatens to derail my future. I've been expelled from high school, potentially losing my last year and the opportunity to graduate with my friends. I made one mistake during a particularly stressful period, and now my entire future hangs in the balance.
I am not seeking to evade responsibility for my actions. I only ask for a second chance. Studies, such as those conducted by UCLA’s Civil Rights Project, suggest that expulsion does not achieve its purported deterrent effect and often leads to long-term negative outcomes for expelled students, including decreased earning potential and increased likelihood of involvement in the criminal justice system.
I am motivated to right my wrongs and not let this singular mistake define my future. I want to study, graduate, and pursue a meaningful career, just like my friends who are still in school.
But I can't do this alone. I need your support. Please sign this petition to help me request a reconsideration of my expulsion, so I can get back to school and continue my pursuit of knowledge and personal growth. Your signature can help ensure that a single mistake doesn’t prematurely end a young person’s promising future.
