On March 1st, 2025, an executive order was signed to fast-track logging and deforestation on public lands. Our beautiful and diverse forests are at risk due to this decision, causing an imbalance in our ecosystem and contributing to climate change. Forests act as carbon sinks, absorbing CO2 emissions that fuel global warming. Losing them could accelerate climate change, harming our environment drastically (Source: National Geographic). This petition is a call for immediate action, urging the government to reverse the 2025 executive order to preserve our public forests and land.
