The Issue

As an SEND specialist working in mainstream primary schools, I witness daily the challenges faced by pupils with additional needs. The recent announcement that the government has decided to cut funding for SEND pupils is not only disheartening but also a significant setback for these children's education.

The number of students requiring additional support is at an all-time high, and this decision will prevent them from receiving an equal education compared to their peers without additional needs. It's crucial to understand that these cuts will not only affect the students but also their parents and schools as a whole.

Instead of cutting funds, we should be advocating for increased investment in our children's future. Education is a right, not a privilege; every child deserves access to quality education irrespective of their individual needs.

We urge you to reconsider this decision and prioritize investing in our children's future over budget cuts. Please sign this petition if you believe in equal educational opportunities for all children regardless of their abilities or disabilities.

If we get to 10K signatures I will personally take this to downing Street and deliver it to the government and demand this be looked at and changed.

This will only be possible with support from everyone , please sign and share.

This must be changed ASAP.

Many thanks
