I’ve been smoking menthols for over 15+ years, and this ban is nothing short of ridiculous. As a legal adult, I should have the right to choose what I smoke — not have that choice taken away by people who don’t even smoke.

The real problem isn’t menthol cigarettes. The real problem is businesses selling to minors. Instead of punishing responsible adults, enforce stricter checks, monitor smoke shops, and hold bad sellers accountable. Don’t take away an entire product just because some can’t follow the rules!

If this ban sticks, it won’t stop menthol smokers — it will only push people toward black market sales, illegal vapes, and e-cigarettes. Bans don’t solve problems, they just drive them underground.

Everyone has a vice. This is ours. And no one should have the power to tell grown adults what legal choices we can or cannot make. I’m 34 years old, and I refuse to be treated like a child when it comes to what I put in my body.

This ban is insulting, controlling, and flat-out wrong. Imagine if menthol smokers tried to ban non-smokers from running — that’s how absurd this is.
