Reverse the 2030 Ban on Gas Cars and Shift Australia's Fuel Economy to CNGs
The issue
As aficionados of tech from simpler times, we deeply wish for Technology to regress to the 2000s, when we had no worries, We Are Currently fighting against Streaming Services and AI. We do understand for environmental reasons, some things do have to change, such as enforcing a "Use One Tree, Plant 10" Policy" in Paper Plantations.
For us, the charm of operating a manual gear stick is irreplaceable, much like the nostalgia of playing DVDs or Wii. Our plea is simple - Reverse the 2030 ban on gas cars. This ban, although well-intentioned to promote green energy vehicles, could cost millions of their jobs and reduce consumer choice. While we do believe in protecting our environment, the outright ban on gas cars is not the answer. Instead, we propose a comprehensive shift to Compressed Natural Gas (CNGs), a cleaner version of gasoline which greatly reduces harmful emissions.
Additionally, instead of making drastic changes which could lead to job loss and sink businesses, why not accelerate the Diamond Dust Global Cooling Initiative? This initiative, with its potential to effectively counter global warming, could provide a better and safer solution for both mankind and our planet.
The decision to reverse the ban on gas cars. speaks out for those many Australians who value their classic cars, their livelihoods and their ability to choose an old-school lifestyle. It also reflects my personal wish, i am strongly against technological development past it's current stage, i want it to go back to 2001 levels. Minus the possibility of extending the life of the sun and the Diamond Dust Project
