Thank you to all who showed up and spoke last night at the City Hall Business Meeting!

I was able to speak to the Clerk afterwards, as well as former Mayor Rosemary Ives. From what I’ve gathered, if we want Council to actually have a discussion and a vote around this issue, we need to collectively reach out to them and ask for that specifically. 

Sharing our voices at the open sessions is also very important, and I will continue to do so every 1st and 3rd Tuesday at the Business meetings until this is finally addressed. However, the feeling I get from some of the leaders is that they are detached from the people of Redmond, and that it would take a larger outcry to get them to truly hear us.
