Firstly, we would just like to thank everyone so much for your support to reverse the defunding of specialist telehealth for rural, aged care and Indigenous patients. The past few weeks have been hard on regional communities facing the catastrophic floods. We hope you've been safe!

Please share the petition with your friends and family

With families being displaced, roads being ripped apart in rural NSW and Queensland and claims of the recent floods being Australia's worst natural disaster in history, the need for accessible specialist care is more important than ever before for flood affected regional communities.

It is crucial that the federal government reverses its decision to remove MBS funding of specialist telehealth. As we move into the recovery phase, the national conversation must be around support networks that need to be established for remote, vulnerable communities to access the health care they need.

Please keep sharing the petition to keep the issue on the agenda

A huge thank you again to all 33,367 of you who have supported our petition so far, together we can shine a light on the benefits of accessible specialist telehealth and why it matters now more than ever.
