The unfortunate decision of granting the custody of my three children, without lending an ear to my side of the story, is yet another testament to this blatant disregard.

It is a harsh reality that around 400,000 children in the US alone are living without permanent families in the foster care system, according to the data estimated from AFCARS Report in 2020. This only emphasizes the crucial role families hold in child rearing, and stripping the biological parents off their right to have an input in child custody cases are believed to potentially exacerbate this issue.
