I am one of the many patrons who grew up in the embracing warmth of Chuck E. Cheese, where children seek refuge from life's harsh realities and indulge in pure, innocent joy. For me, it was more than just an amusement facility - it served as my second home, my safe haven during my vulnerable childhood years after my father left and my home environment dwindled. I remember the old Chuck E. Cheese, where Avenger Chuck reigned supreme and the animatronics served as our favorite band. I remember it all too vividly, as they are deeply ingrained in my childhood memory. 

But all that changed in 2014, when they decided to revamp their design to the more polished, less engaging characters. The transition has disappointed me and many other long-term fans who adored the traditional design and did not deem it necessary to alter the iconic features. The planned 2.0 version seems to be another unnecessary step, further deviating from what made Chuck E. Cheese special to us.

I asked myself: "Why would they fix what clearly isn't broken?" The old-school charm and nostalgic value the original design carried were part of why Chuck E. Cheese was beloved by many. It was not merely about the gaming amenities but the characters that seemed to have come to life. 

Let's ask Chuck E. Cheese to halt their 2.0 plan, bring back Avenger Chuck, cease the destruction of the treasured animatronics, and restore the pre-2000s store designs. We hope they will recognize the emotional weight their older designs carry for patrons like us.

Not everything has to adjust to the fast-paced evolution of design and technology. Sometimes, preserving something as it is can hold a more profound meaning, especially when it has served as an integral part of our childlike joy and dreams. Please join me in signing this petition to help bring back our treasured childhood sanctuary in its original form, for us and for generations to come.

I require the company to end the 2.0 policy, bring back the animatronic band in all locations, bring back the avenger design in both logo, mascot, animatronic, and renovate all locations back to the old store front pre 2014.

Ways I feel they should change at chuck e cheese. 

I feel the restaurant had gone downhill and I know a few ways they could change chuck e cheese

1. Fix the food quality: cec food has gone downhill and the pizza is seen as horrible if the pizza recipe and brought in better pizza cutters
2. Fix the prize counter: the prize at the counter were dollar store quality and I feel you can keep the mascot plusses but add better prizes such as big ticket items like appliances, video game, electronics and smaller prizes like merch, candy, ete
3. Better security: Chuck e cheese has gotten less safe over the years and I feel if you gotten more security features and staff it could be better that brings me to my next point
4. Ban alcohol all locations: beer has gotten out of control at locations with drunken brawls all over the us with varying degrees of brutality and if alcohol was banned at all locations it could make the place a lot safer for children 
5. Make it a better place for adults: we not just for the kids the parents should like to bring their kids here have it so you have better adult games, animatronic shows that plays more songs and shows that appeals to adults and kids, have more adult food make it more appealing towards teens and adults

I hope if the company reads this and make these changes. And this only works if we work together let's bring back cec to what it used to be.
