The century-old Baroque gray stone capilla of Cabatuan Cemetery is a cultural legacy, one of the eight remaining Spanish stone cemeteries in Iloilo.

Completed in 1894, the nearly perfect square cemetery is Roman in style and enclosed on all four sides by solid limestone based with artistically-designed railings.

The capilla stands at the center of the cemetery and has three entrance archways. It is still in good condition with its stone carvings still visible.
