Another Child Abduction to South Korea in the News

Every few weeks now, we get contacted by another newly left-behind parent with a sad story like this. We're now aware of ongoing cases of abduction to South Korea from Texas, Utah, Vancouver, Washington State, New York, Massachusetts, Nevada, UK, Luxembourg, and another from California. Most likely there are many more in progress that we haven't heard about yet.  The media attention has helped us left-behind parents find each other and work together, but it also appears to have emboldened potential abductors since there are no serious consequences for their actions. 

In a case like this, when there's no existing court order in place at the time of the abduction, the left-behind parent has no choice but to stand by powerlessly as their child vanishes from their life. It's truly one of the worst feelings in the world.
