This documentary is in French, but we've added English, Korean, and Japanese subtitles to make it more accessible to the world.  (It's not currently viewable in France and certain other French-speaking countries due to some copyright issues we're working on resolving.)

It shows the heartrending pain endured by a mother, her daughter, and other family members due to a 5.5-year abduction prolonged by failures in the South Korean and international justice systems.  Many of the exact same failures are currently preventing the return of our children abducted from the USA and other countries due to South Korea's ongoing non-compliance with its Hague Convention treaty obligations.

This story has a happy ending, but only because of the strong love and persistence of the left-behind mother (who has already signed this petition in support of our cause) and the tireless efforts and creativity of her Korean attorney.  In 2021, the case set a precedent in the Korean Supreme Court for criminalizing the actions of the abductor.

The film is thoughtfully paced, and carefully examines all aspects of the harsh reality of what happens during an international abduction, especially the severe emotional damage inflicted on everyone involved.

Please take some time to watch it in its entirety if you want to really understand the issue which gave rise to this petition, and the anguish being experienced by all left-behind parents and their children.
