Today, I received this update from the State Attorneys in Sacramento who are trying to help me get the money that Wells Fargo owes me. Wells Fargo has been stalling them for weeks. Hopefully with the Attorney General's help, Wells Fargo will become more cooperative. On a darker note: So many people have left positive and supportive comments on here and I appreciate them more than I can say. Unfortunately, there have also been a few people making off color and hateful comments about me and this petition. I don't know these people and they certainly don't know me, or my situation, or the facts surrounding this issue, which are that Wells Fargo foreclosed on my home and sold it for more than double what I owed on the loan. Federal law requires Wells Fargo to return any excess funds from the sale of my home to me and they have refused to do that. The circumstances surrounding my foreclosure are not the topic of this petition, nor do they entitle Wells Fargo to violate Federal law. That said, I would like to ask anyone leaving a comment to stay on topic, or to refrain from posting if you have nothing constructive to contribute. There is no room for hatred in my life, or in this petition. Thanks for all the support!
