The international flags in the commons area of Edwardsville High School have been a huge representation of diversity for our school for years. These have recently been taken down, with the replacement being the "ROAR" banners. This petition's purpose is to get the flags put back up in our commons area, as they have served the students well in providing belonging and education about countries other than our own. 

If this petition gets a large following, it will be brought to Dr. Stuart as proof that the flags are important to the students, and that the removal has been noticed. According to Dr. Stuart, the flags are currently in a storage space. 

Let us join together to pull these flags out of the storage space. Our narrative is a piece of a larger diverse puzzle, and every individual within the Tiger Community will be impacted negatively. Faculty and students alike represent varying nationalities, cultures, and heritage. Every identity should feel as if they have a place in our school community.
