SEATS Report Jeremy Rich Jeremy reported that SEATS (Transport Lobby across southern NSW and Victoria) has supported bus proposal and e-petition. 5. Airport & Port Anthony Status There is some suggestion that funds may be in offing for the airport. There may be some preliminary work on purchase options for land and farm. We understand that there are a number of live options for Port Anthony that if proceeded with will strengthen case for the return of the rail. Publically the Great South Star wind farm, just being funded by Copenhagen Infrastructure Fund, will have some local manufacture and assembly requires logistic system. There are three other real opportunities that are confidential but likewise would strengthen argument for rail. The mines in East Gippsland are also looking for port for an export port. 6.
