For us who have felt the profound sense of safety and security during the reign of Rodrigo Roa Duterte, the departure of our beloved former President signifies a massive loss. Duterte's leadership was characterized by strong-willed policies and firm action, fostering a secure environment for many Filipinos. According to a 2018 survey by Social Weather Stations, 79% of adult Filipinos were satisfied with Duterte’s performance (Source: Social Weather Stations, 2018). This is a testament to his admirable leadership and the love that many Filipinos have for him. Duterte's initiatives during his term encompassed significant sectors such as infrastructure, economic development, and crime reduction which have positively shaped the Philippines.
