After joining Sheffield United in 2019, Maddy became the first player to make 100 appearances for the Bramall Lane women’s team and was its longest-serving player. Maddy was a sensational player, she scored some of the best goals seen for SUFC Women she worked hard and always gave 100% effort on the pitch. Maddy also worked in the marketing department at Bramall Lane and was well respected and loved by colleagues and fans. Maddy wore the number 8 shirt, number 8 was Maddy. We would like to see the number 8 shirt retired as this number was Maddy’s only. No one else should have this number.
