The Winfield Youth Football and Cheer League holds utmost importance in our hearts. For years, it has fostered community spirit, enabled our children to form lasting friendships, and contributed positively to the well-being of the wider community. The recent proposal to move our beloved league from the AFCC conference to the Tristate conference threatens these bonds of community that we hold dear. Such relocation can disrupt the sense of community that has been built over generations.

Moreover, leadership is pivotal to the success of any organization. We sincerely believe that the current president should step down from his role, along with additional board members.  We have community members who are willing to step in and would better fit the role in fostering unity, promoting fair play and ensuring the children's welfare was commendable. We believe under new leadership, the league will thrive in the best interest of our children and community at large.

We are making this plea not just for our children, but for all those who believe in the spirit of football, cheer, and the impact it has on building strong and vibrant communities. We hope to preserve our community tradition and ensure the continuation of Winfield Youth Football and Cheer League in the AFCC conference.

NOTE: The Board has now decided to hold a “Town Hall” meeting, Friday, December 13 @ 6:30p for parents. Hopefully this is an open forum to actually HEAR our concerns and feelings. 
We need to continue our momentum of sharing this petition, information parents of the upcoming meeting & speaking up for all of the kiddos in this league.
