As former students of Bloomingdale Elementary School, this petition comes from a personal place of deep respect and reverence. Having walked its corridors and learned countless life lessons within its classrooms, it's more than just a school to us. My older brother and I are a part of the multitudinous alumni that have benefitted from its legacy. A legacy that has been contributing to the growth and development of our community for over half a century, since its establishment in 1963.

Throughout the years, Bloomingdale Elementary School has served as more than a learning institution, it plays a crucial role in setting the foundational blocks for its students' future. The name holds a sentimental value to all of us who have been a part of this school and it represents a rich tapestry of history and collective memories.

Retaining the name of Bloomingdale Elementary School not only respects the establishment's such immense legacy but also continues the tradition of fostering a sense of belonging amongst the children who attend the school. The school's name is an emblem of community pride and continuity.
