We, the undersigned residents and guests of Golden Village Palms, respectfully submit this petition in strong opposition to the decision to eliminate full-time on-site security personnel.

Golden Village Palms has long stood out as a safe, peaceful, and welcoming community thanks in large part to the presence of dedicated full-time security staff. Their visibility and quick response time have prevented incidents, deterred crime, and provided essential peace of mind.

Many of us specifically chose to live at Golden Village Palms even though there are cheaper RV parks in the Hemet area because of the promise of full-time security. Hemet is known for its elevated crime rate, currently sitting at 24.16 incidents per 1,000 residents, which is significantly higher than the national average. Without dedicated on-site security, we expect to see a direct increase in trespassing, theft, vandalism, and other safety concerns within the resort.

Removing full-time security not only creates unnecessary risk for residents and their property, but it could also:

Increase liability for ownership
Raise insurance premiums
Deter future guests and long-term residents
Hurt the community’s strong reputation for safety

This petition is open only to full-time residents or guests who frequently stay at Golden Village Palms.

We urge management to reconsider this decision and work with residents to maintain the high standard of safety that has made this resort a place we’re proud to call home.
