Minister Patrick O Donovan has today launched an online public consultation to collect opinions on the Basic Income for the Arts. 

It would be fantastic if each of you could have your say on why you think this support should be extended and retained. It is really important the Minister see the sectoral and public support for this life changing support for Artists

The consultation comprises a short survey and shouldn’t take longer than a minute or two to complete. Completion of this survey is not mandatory. It gives an opportunity for the public and the arts sector to share their opinions. Please note that no decision has been made in relation to a successor scheme. Responses to this public consultation form part of the information being collected for consideration.
