As an avid attendee of the annual Mother's Goose Parade for several years, either as a child or with my own children, its cancellation is deeply personal and unacceptable. This is not just a mere event, but a cherished tradition that forms the bedrock of our community spirit and unity. Our city has the necessary funds to host the parade. Moreover, there exists a robust network of dedicated volunteers who have willingly offered their time and effort to bring the parade to life, symbolic of the deep roots the parade holds in our hearts. It is truly disheartening to see such a beloved tradition be halted. Let's join hands to urge our city officials to recognize the significance of the Mother's Goose Parade and take immediate action to reinstate it. A sign of your support will not just bring back a parade but a piece of our community spirit that has been unjustly taken away. Plase forward, share and sign this free petition if you miss the Mother Goose parade. Close your eyes and put yourself in that moment and then look to your left or right wherever your kids are sitting and see their eyes light up as the parade starts and then WAIT FOR IT!!!!! "Santa is coming mommy. Santa!!!!!!!" 

Yeah I went there. I know for a fact I pulled on your heart strings and maybe even a tear formed in your eye. But truthfully my heart swells and joy fills my mind when the thought of Mother Goose in all her glory goes by waving to all of her admirers. With all that is going on in the world why not focus on this family tradition of decades and decades of enjoyment. What excuse is there not to have it. Anything is possible. Anyways, have a nice rest of your day.

I have not posted an update in a long time. I am so sorry. This petition is not dead. I swear. It actually has open some eyes and turned a couple heads of some VERY IMPORTANT people. I am so excited. I cannot elaborate as to not count the Goose eggs before they are laid. Is that how you say it? If you want to support the Mother Goose parade please get your family and friends to sign this petition. It is free to sign!! Please help me SAVE THE GOOSE!!

What a year this has started out to be. A lot has happened in parade world since I left an update. I knew it took a lot to put on a parade but there are new regulations I will call them if you will. Also that stuff called money and insurance.. It's still way to early to say anything either way but I have learned a tremendous amount of information and I have talked to some important people and I will say the wheels are turning in a direction. So please keep the faith and Mother Goose alive. Yeahhhhhh!!!!

11/25/24 Update.........I am steering this petition in a different direction but in hopes it will still produce the same outcome.  I have added Daryl Priest the  president and title sponsor of the parade.  In hopes this petition reaches him and he knows that the mother Goose parade is missed and loved and wanted back. I myself want to help the association any way I can to see her back up where she belongs in all her glory.  I am hoping to meet with him and see how we can help.
