The Issue

I am a resident on the road Winscombe Avenue, which, unfortunately, has become a daily source of distress for my family and many others in our community. My child attends the local school, and like many parents, I am deeply concerned about the deteriorating conditions of the road we all rely on. The presence of significant potholes and surface damage has turned our commute into a treacherous journey, risking damage to our vehicles and posing potential hazards to pedestrians, especially young children on their way to school.

Every day, hundreds of families, teachers, and residents use this road. It's not just a route, but a crucial part of our community's daily life. Yet, due to neglect and wear over time, it has become a prime culprit in vehicle damage and a cause of increasing safety concerns. It is unacceptable that a road so essential to our children's education and community interaction should remain in such poor condition.

We urge the local authorities to prioritize the resurfacing of this vital stretch to enhance our neighborhood's safety and accessibility. We understand that budgets can be tight, but investing in road maintenance and infrastructure is investing in the well-being and safety of the community.

A newly resurfaced road will not only prevent further damage to vehicles but also ensure safe passage for our children walking or biking to school. It will alleviate the costly repairs many of us have had to undertake due to the current road's condition and improve the general quality of life in our area.

I am calling on the community to join me in urging our local council to take immediate action. By signing this petition, you can help us press for timely intervention and much-needed improvements to our road infrastructure. Together, our voices can make a difference. Please sign and share this petition to help us bring about the change our community needs.
