We, the fans of "Avatar; The Last Airbender", have noticed that Azula has not appeared in
any new canonical project for a while. Her narrative remains on hold. While other characters
have had their journeys explored from childhood through to resolution, her story has been
left unfinished. While many fans have grown discouraged about the future of her character, we firmly believe there is still immense potential left in her character.

Throughout her journey, we watched her endure severe mental health struggles, make
numerous self-destructive decisions, and exhibit harmful behavior, all while remaining deeply
aligned with the Fire Nation's philosophy. We strongly advocate for future content dedicated
to Azula, and we want to see how she will handle the new challenges she faces.

Her story is already deeply tragic, and leaving it unresolved doesn't feel right. We consider
her one of the most intriguing characters in the entire franchise, and we wish to see her step
out of a purely villainous role. Nothing would do her character more justice than to have her
find her identity and finally confront her internal turmoil. For this to feel genuinely earned and
impactful, it needs to be driven by her own choices and self-reflection. We welcome the
inclusion of more mature and dark themes, such as her years of abuse, psychological
trauma, and mental health struggles. In fact, we feel this depth will be necessary for her arc
to feel complete. While we respect the creative vision of the writers and do not want to
dictate specific plot details, we firmly believe she needs to finally find closure in a standalone
piece.

We urge Avatar Studios to give Azula a chance to find her own path and to get the resolution
she deserves.
