Stewart International Airport has not had commercial daily service by a major air carrier since the Covid pandemic. As a result, residents and businesses located in the growing Hudson Valley are forced to commute long distances to the other three New York Port Authority Airports. Most residents have used Newark Liberty Airport because of the relative ease of getting there vis-a-vis LGA and JFK. 

Now Newark is suffering from operational challenges that have compelled the FAA to restrict flights in and out of the region. As such, there have been significant cutbacks in service on United and other commercial carriers. 

Its time for our leaders, the major airlines, and the Port Authority to IMMEDIATELY restore commercial service from Stewart International. This would be a relief valve for air traffic congestion at the other three airports. 

This petition is asking businesses and residents to please sign, and it will be sent to our leaders and relevant business executives.
