Restore Wellness Weekend at La Crosse, WI

Restore Wellness Weekend at La Crosse, WI
The Issue
Wellness Weekend was supplied to allow us students a small break from straining classes to revisit our friends, family, or simply take time to ourselves to reboot.
Wellness Weekend was a Friday-Sunday weekend, where classes were not held, and teachers were requested to refrain from assigning any homework. This allowed students a much-needed respite to recharge and return to their studies invigorated. It provided an opportunity to reconnect with loved ones, engage in self-care, and mentally prepare for the rigors of upcoming academic challenges.
The previous administration run by Interim Chancellor Betsy Morgan, removed this day of rest, refused to listen to us students, and showed their lack of empathy for others. We request that our new Chancellor Beeby, hear us, as we have been supported under his administration.
Please sign this petition to bring back Wellness Weekend, so we can continue to thrive both academically and personally.
