The Issue

We, the undersigned members of the Endeavour Elementary, the broader Issaquah School District community, and community at large are deeply concerned about ongoing reports of harassment, intimidation, and disruption affecting staff and students at Endeavour Elementary. These issues directly impact the safety and well-being of both educators and students, and they undermine the school’s learning environment.

We respectfully call on the district to take two immediate steps:

  1. Communicate Current Safety Measures
Share what monitoring and safety protocols are in place at Endeavour, along with the metrics being used to assess staff and student safety and overall school climate.
  2. Commission an Independent Investigation
Launch a third-party review into safety concerns and harassment allegations. Given the involvement of individuals in positions of authority, only an external investigation (free from internal conflicts of interest) can ensure credibility and transparency. In addition to reviewing the allegations outlined in the existing lawsuit, external investigators should speak directly with on-campus staff to ensure their current work environment is safe, respectful, and free from harassment. The scope and timeline should also be shared with the community.

Clear, timely, and independent action is necessary to rebuild trust and ensure a safe and respectful environment for everyone at Endeavour.

We urge the Issaquah School District to act decisively in the interest of its students, staff, and families.
