This morning, the New York Times reported some good news: information on Ukrainian children abducted by the Russian government is safe. Many feared that the database – created by a team at Yale University – had been deleted when the Trump administration cut funding for the research.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Thursday that the data is “secure” and will be transferred to “the appropriate party.” While this isn’t much, it’s certainly a relief to know that critical information on thousands of missing children hasn’t been erased.
Now is the time to drive momentum on this petition to restore the tracking of abducted Ukrainian children. Will you share the petition with 5 friends today?
More than 30,000 children were taken from Ukraine – separated from their homes and loved ones. We cannot abandon them.
