For over a year now, students at Mississauga Secondary School have been missing a vital part of our daily school life—the beloved table tennis table. Once a cherished source of fun, relaxation, and connection, this simple yet impactful piece of recreation was broken and left in disrepair, taking away an essential outlet for stress relief and mental well-being.

The American Psychological Association emphasizes the importance of physical activities in reducing stress. For us, the ping pong table wasn’t just a game—it was a break from academics, a boost for mental health, and a chance to build friendships. Its absence has left a gap in our school experience, impacting morale and adding to the pressures of daily school life.

We call on the school administration to prioritize the repair or replacement of our table tennis table. This isn’t just about restoring a recreational facility; it's about supporting the well-being of the students who depend on it.
