It was a classic case of policy enacted in the most un-American way, without warning and without regard for the rights and liberties of us, the citizens.

Online poker isn't just a game; it's an arena for skill, strategy, and even social interaction. It has been part of American culture for countless years. But now, it's inaccessible to millions of enthusiasts, emergent players, and professionals due to a hastily passed legislation.

However, the American Gaming Association reports that 10% of adults - roughly 23.8 million people - visit an online gambling site each month. It's clear we haven't lost our passion for online poker; we've merely lost the legal means to pursue it.

We strongly appeal to our lawmakers - review the Penal Code, reconsider UIGEA, and restore our right. Take note of the revenue and job opportunities currently being lost due to these unnecessary restrictions. Recognize the pleasure, the harmless recreational activity that's been snatched away from us.
