Wild Equity Institute started this petition to Mayor of San Francisco Edwin Lee and

San Francisco should partner with the National Park Service to transform Sharp Park into a National Park for all people to enjoy. Currently, Sharp Park contains a money-losing, endangered species-killing golf course that requires up to $50 million in capital expenses to improve course conditions and defend the course from sea level rise. If San Francisco instead partners with the National Park Service to manage the land as a National Park, San Francisco will save money, endangered species will be protected, and we'll all get a new national park for everyone to enjoy.  Please sign this petition to support restoring Sharp Park!
