We, the undersigned, request that Missoula County reinstate the public posting of jail booking photos on the inmate roster. Booking photos allow community members to visually identify potential threats or sexual offenders in our small community, providing a critical tool for personal safety.

Names and ages alone are not enough for residents to recognize individuals in public or on private property. Removing photos makes it more difficult for people to take precautions and protect themselves. Restoring access to booking photos balances transparency, public safety, and community awareness.

We urge Missoula County to reverse this policy and ensure residents can see booking photos alongside names and charges.
