Restore Our Library
The Issue

Our condominium subdivision used to have a charming little library and bench that brought richness and warmth to our community. It was more than just a structure filled with books; it was a symbol of generosity, sharing, and connection among us. Sadly, last summer, the little library was taken down because someone was uncomfortable with people from outside VON using it. This loss has left a gap in our neighborhood, in both spirit and character. It was in the perfect place. There is absolutely no better location within VON.
By reinstating it, we have an opportunity to foster a friendly and inclusive community. It can once again serve as a safe, welcoming place for everyone to enjoy the power of reading. According to littlefreelibrary.org, there are more than 200,000 registered Little Free Libraries in over 100 countries, which facilitate millions of book exchanges annually – proof that these little book havens are valued around the world. Let's come together to bring back this gem in our neighborhood. By signing this petition, you are supporting a project that encourages education, connection, and a shared sense of community pride. Please, sign and help us get our beloved little library back. Together, we can make a lasting impact by turning a simple idea into a meaningful community treasure once again.
