A very unusual sight - but do not get too excited for as I said in my last update, it may well be a false dawn. 

Firstly, the analysis of the survey which closed on 29th September is not yet finished and no date for its completion is available from DDDC. As a result, discussion and decisions on the temporary tolerated traveller sites will NOT take place at next week's C&E meeting and its next meeting is NOT until late January so the coach and car park remains a TTTS.

We have asked the question 'can the family return to the site or by leaving have they lost the right to use the site' Awaiting an answer from DDDC. What action, now the site is usable, will be taken to stop travellers coming onto the coach and car park' - answer 'currently none!!'

So once the final debris from the misuse of the site has been removed, there will be 9 coach parking bays and 22 car parking bays avilable for their correct use again. 

But our battle must go on - firstly to remove the area from the TTTS list and then to ensure that the site can only be used by tourists, residents and rail passengers.
