The Issue

We, the undersigned, respectfully petition the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System to take the following actions on behalf of the students, alumni, and community of Woodville-Tompkins High School:

Restore the Original Wolverine Logo:
Reestablish the original Wolverine logo as the official emblem of Woodville-Tompkins High School. Since the early 1950s, this logo has represented the pride, identity, and heritage of generations of students and alumni.
Include Woodville-Tompkins Alumni in the Planning of the Lower Campus:
Schedule a formal meeting with the Woodville-Tompkins Alumni Association to share information and design plans for the new building on the lower campus, and ensure transparency and collaboration throughout the planning process.
Include a Comprehensive Athletic Complex:
Ensure that a modern, full-scale Athletic Complex is part of the new campus development to support student athletes, promote wellness, and maintain equitable resources across SCCPSS schools.
Schedule a Leadership Meeting:
We request that a joint meeting be arranged with Superintendent Denise Watts, Board President Roger Moss, and the Woodville-Tompkins Alumni Association to discuss these concerns and explore solutions together.
