Restore Hope for 500+ International Students Cheated by a College in Canada

The Issue

The dreams of over 500 international students were cruelly shattered by a college's mass revocation. Northern College in Ontario, among others, was once seen as a beacon of hope for these eager minds, but that hope turned into despair when, just a month before classes, the college revoked their hard-earned letters of acceptance.

We demand justice and restoration for these aspiring minds, and we call for action on two crucial fronts:

  1. Aks for Accountability from the Ministry of Colleges and Universities: We call upon the Ministry of Colleges and Universities of Ontario to put an end to the mass revocation of letters of acceptance, ensure fair treatment and protection of students' dreams and educational opportunities, and uphold the integrity of the province's education system.
  2. Call for an Exception from the Ministry of Immigration: We beseech the Ministry of Immigration (IRCC) to show compassion and understanding by making an exception for these affected students. Grant them the opportunity to continue their pursuit of education without the burden of reapplying for Study Permits when they switch to an alternative institution. These students have already endured emotional distress and financial strain due to the college's actions

We stand united in our resolve to fight for the rights of these students, who deserve fair treatment and a chance to rebuild their dreams. Let us send a resounding message to the Ministry of Colleges and Universities of Ontario and IRCC that the world is watching, and we demand justice for these young minds whose aspirations were unfairly quashed. Together, let's create a future where educational opportunities remain untainted by fraud, and where the pursuit of knowledge is met with compassion and support.

Please sign this petition and share it widely, so we can amplify our collective voice and pave the way for a brighter, more just future for these resilient dreamers. #JusticeForInternationalStudents
