Good afternoon,

Please see the latest update on the crossing guard issue on this Herrity Report. 

Sup. Herrity along with Sup. Lusk and Alcorn were able to get County staff to recommend reinstating crossing guards at 10 of our high schools. The final decision will be made by the Board of Supervisors after Tomorrow’s Public Hearing on the 2026 Carryforward Review at 10:30 on Tuesday September 15th.
