As 2024 comes to a close, I wanted to share the news that our postcard action is complete - thanks to your incredible support.

Together, we delivered 9,300 postcards to the Refugee Council— to be distributed in asylum intake centres - one for every child arriving in the UK.  You can see a video of the postcards here.

Postcards are a small gesture - that we hope will bring a moment of comfort during a difficult time. Each one was a heartfelt creation, designed with care and compassion by supporters of this campaign, reflecting the warm welcome and respect that every asylum seeker deserves—especially as they face the challenges of arriving in the UK. This action was inspired by the young people at the City of Sanctuary who created artwork in response to the cartoons being removed.

A HUGE thank you to you all for your support and action - whether it was drawing, signing, sharing, writing messages, printing, logistics, etc.
