The IRONY. 8 miles of the great Amazon rainforest, the 'lungs of the earth', has been cut down to construct a road for the 2025 COP30 climate summit in the Brazilian city of Belém.

Our petition calls for immediate afforestation in the Amazon, not only to rectify the overriding damages but to commit to a sustainable future. 

Quoting the world leaders who say, "a COP in the Amazon, not a COP about the Amazon." is enough proof for everyone to realise that the safety of our earth is in the wrong hands. Discussions and theoretical solutions to climate change are as good as nothing, if their implementation is weak and the formation requires cutting off the limbs of the earth. 

All conflicts will prove to be in vain if the environment isn't protected, as the species of human being in itself would come an end.
