We’ve had 61 promoters now totaling $860.24.  That money is valuable to you, but it was well spent.  It brought in 660 signatures! With 2014 signatures in 22 days, I think this campaign is going super well, don’t you?

Keep on sharing, and if you can afford to promote it again, please do!

Most people that hear about our island think it is small, but Vancouver Island is not small by any stretch, and our railway at 289km is not small either, but it exists already and that’s why it’s so inexpensive to fix.

The land is owned, the right-of-way established, the mountains blasted, the bridges and trestles already in place.  The tracks and trestles just need some good old TLC, and some other adjustments for First Nations.

We need the Federal Government to pay for the maintenance they ignored while using the railway before 2006 and provide funding to mitigate concerns.  The Island Corridor Foundation saved the railway from being decommissioned in 2006, but they were never funded to do anything about its condition.

Please share this Petition by email or on social media, and by all means tell your story in the comments.  Some of them are very eye opening.
