We are rocking this petition!
In only one month’s time, passionate supporters have been signing, sharing and promoting the Petition to fund the Vancouver Island Railway. Since the start, 1057 sharers and 72 Promoters have garnered 964 signatures!
I’ve done some Petition tuning to hit the best points first, and from that the number of signatures per share or dollar spent promoting it, is now way higher.
I’m sending a great big virtual hug for those that signed, shared or promoted it, because to get to 2500 so fast is phenomenal. I’m excited! The last Petition that brought the B.C. Government and Federal Governments to the table took 7 months to reach 1467 supporters, and then another 9 months to break 10,000. We are on track to make that petition look like small potatoes.
Imagine 2500 people writing to the Federal Government? Imagine 10,000 or more? What would the Federal Minister of Transportation, Pablo Rodreguez ( pablo.rodriguez@parl.gc.ca ) or the British Columbia Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure, Rob Fleming ( rob.fleming.mla@leg.bc.ca ) think if they started receiving thousands of emails about the railway? I’ve made writing an email easy on the web site I created last year under “Tell your leaders” https://restoreislandrail.com/tell-your-leaders
If you are a passionate supporter sharing and promoting that is awesome. If you are a passive supporter that doesn’t feel up to signing but you are willing to have conversations about it, that’s great too. If you find someone that just doesn’t get it, or seems a little troll-like, you can send them to me on any of my social media platforms and I’ll help them better understand what is going on:

Thanks again and let’s ride this train to the next stop at 5000! They may call Train stops terminals, but this railway is not terminal, it just needs the Federal Government to step up and do what's right for Vancouver Island residents, visitors, and tourists.
