Hi Everyone,

It’s awesome that 651 people have shared the Vancouver Island Petition now.  47 People have promoted it too, so a special thank you goes to those that have since the last update.  Thanks Adele Miller, John Wynia, Samuel Thompson, David Neufeld, Terry Krenbrink, Glyn Stanier, Phoenix Charlie, and Frank Moore.

Putting money toward promoting it has brought in 450 signatures! I should also mention that there have been quite a few donations from Anonymous, glad to have them on our side! �

The next goal is 2500, a longer stretch than the ones before, but as the petition gains momentum, others start to see they are not alone in their thoughts and that this petition is going places.  That value makes it worth signing and supporting.  I helped push the Vancouver Island Transport Corridor Coalition’s petition over 10400 supporters last year, so I know we can do this.

With all the creating I’ve done, the simple snip of Google Earth with a caption “On the Left, Vancouver Island where the bulk of over 900,000 people live, on the right Metro Vancouver where 2.6 million people live.  The Vancouver Island Railway goes from North to South from Courtenay and Port Alberni to Victoria. Most islanders live within its catchment.” is doing better than them all. Lol… oh social media you perplex me sometimes.

Share on, if you can afford to promote it again, please do.  Having conversations with others can glean some very positive results as well.  Sharing, especially to social media groups I don’t belong to can bring amazing exposure.
