Rester Brother's Garage and Repair Shop has been part of the landscape of Old Shell Road since the 1940s but over time has become an eyesore. The same developer responsible for such restaurant successes as The Hangout in Gulf Shores and The Gulf in Orange Beach is now interested in revitalizing the Rester Garage! He envisions a different concept for this Springhill landmark; an upscale, family-friendly neighborhood dining establishment. He has a plan for environmental clean-up, landscaping, and (at his own expense) improvements to sidewalks and the adjacent Lavretta Park parking lot.
