We are women and we are consumers. Every month we use personal care and hygiene products. Yes, it is true that mass production sanitary pads save tons of our time, but we are also well aware of the sad fact that these products have become a huge environmental issue as they are made of non-degradable materials. So here we are, at the crossroads of having to do more housework or harming the planet less since if we do not want to use plastic pads, we are to wash reusable ones! 

The thing is we do not want to carry the burden of this responsibility as we have no choice but either to use mass market products, or to waste our precious time on doing the unnecessary and often unpleasant chore. This is us, women, who oftentimes plan family budget and purchase hygiene products. That is why eco-friendliness and environment protection are the choices we are striving after!  

Multinational businesses producing sanitary towels through involving scientific research and high technology regularly update their product lines, but they are still based on plastic.
