On behalf of the Bombay Chartered Accountants' Society, I extend sincerest thanks to you for signing the petition to the FM seeking a complete abolishment of the Income Computation and Disclosure Standards. For us to make an impact and ensure that our petition succeeds, we need far more number of supporters than what we have at present. I therefore request you to kindly create awareness about the ICDS amongst the business community. Ultimately, it is they who are affected by the ICDS the most. We need to ensure that it is not only Chartered Accountants and tax professionals who sign the petition but also the businessmen of the country. Therefore, please share the link of the petition with people known to you. We need to reach a critical mass of at least 25,000 signatures to be able to make an impact on the decision making authorities and we are far away from that mark as of now.
